I love Jamaican patties. I love to inhale their scrumptious scent. I love biting into a warm one. I love scraping up the crumbs.
If you’re in Jamaica, head to Juici Patties or Tastee to get them. They’re great any time of day.
I’m not sure of the ingredients, other than the meat filling. I can taste curry spices, and the crust is flaky, but not in a way that suggests the use of butter; I’m guessing shortening. Whatever’s in there, it’s good.
