BGR is a fast-food burger chain with locations in a few states and a couple outposts in (surprise, surprise) Kuwait.
Judging by the one in Arlington, Virginia, BGR is a winner. It has restaurant-quality burgers.
We ordered delivery through DoorDash. While it took patience (the food arrived 50 min. after ordering online), the wait was worth it.
I had the Wellington burger, which is topped with caramelized onions, roasted mushrooms, black truffles and blue cheese. It was cooked a perfect medium rare. I chose a brioche bun, which held up with minimal sogginess. The patty was substantial, like two burgers in one, and it fit neatly between the brioche slices. The Wellington is an umami bomb; so much to savor. I also ordered a side of sweet-potato fries.
For healthier sides, asparagus and salad are available.
You can also build your own burger, with toppings like a fried egg.
