We visited Beachouse, a backpacker hotel on the Coral Coast of Fiji, during our drive home from the Warwick in February. There is a boutique store, microbrewery and cafe on the grounds, and we picked up a bag of whole-bean local coffee from the shop.
This coffee is made from beans picked from wild coffee bushes in Sigatoka. We’ve never seen this brand before, so we bought a pack to try.
We were impressed. The roast is light, and when we brewed it in a French press, the flavor was full-bodied and bright.
I recommend trying it if you’re ever in the neighborhood.
