Ice Cream with Rum-Soaked Dates

I’ve been making ice cream at home a lot lately. Hubby had the great idea to soak chopped dates in rum to flavor a batch of ice cream.

I recommend macerating the dates in the alcohol overnight and adding a handful for every cup of cream you use for your batch of ice cream.
