Cyclone Yasa moved through Fiji last week. It was billed to be a Category 5 storm, but we were lucky in Suva–Yasa’s effects were minimal.
Vanua Levu, Fiji’s second largest island, got the brunt of the storm.
I covered the storm the day it hit Suva, shooting video and photos and talking to people preparing for the storm. I also did a follow-up story the next day.
