We spent a week in Melbourne, the capital of the Australian state of Victoria, this month and enjoyed the sights and flavors of the city. It reminded me of Vancouver, another beautiful coastal city with a temperate climate.
If you’re thinking about taking a trip to Melbourne, I hope this slideshow gives you ideas of what to see in the city.
If you go, I recommend staying at Ovolo Laneways in the Central Business District. It’s a stylish boutique hotel with friendly staff and snacks and drinks (including alcohol) daily at no extra charge. We booked a one-bedroom suite and felt right at home.
